Throughout my life, I’ve always been an avid shopper, both for new and secondhand items. While fashion was a tool to express myself, I became increasingly aware of my footprint as a consumer and those chasing the latest trend through fast fashion brands. 

Around this time, I also became a mother. And while motherhood has given me so much (including a new favorite show in Bluey), it also caused my body to fluctuate in size, leading me to buy even more clothes to find something that would fit just right. 

And that’s where the idea for Avo was born – to offer sustainable shopping opportunities that celebrate all shapes and sizes.
